Ruth Ellis

Ruth Ellis, a longtime resident of New Carrollton, passed away on Saturday September 10. 2016.  She moved to Maryland from Akron, Ohio in 1958 when her husband Fred was transferred here by the U.S. Navy.  Ruth first met the love of her life Fred on a blind date set up by his mother.  They were married for 65 years before Fred predeceased her in 2013. Ruth’s favorite things were traveling and being Nana to her two grandchildren.   She is survived by her daughter Terri, son-in-law Victor Bradford, as well as grandchildren Lauren and Matt Bradford.
